What to expect during your first visit?
75-minute Session
I believe that good healthcare takes time and is not to be rushed!
We’ve all experienced an “in-and-out” appointment with a medical provider. One of those 5-10 minute visits with your doctor where you saw them, but they didn’t really “see” you?
Because I operate outside of the traditional medical insurance system, we are actually able to take the time necessary to validate your concerns and actually help you solve your problem. Human health can be complicated, but it doesn’t have to be scary and feel like you are navigating it alone.
We take 75 minutes with the initial visit because you deserve to feel heard, fully understand how your problem has affected your life, and figure out a plan to work together to fix that problem and prevent it from happening again!
Welcome to the Longevity Chiropractic lobby! Help yourself to a beverage and relax before your appointment.
Left and Right - Training room with weights, exercise bands, and mats for movement training, fitness training, fall prevention, self-defense training.
Above Center - Treatment room for bodywork sessions
Health History
“We don’t know where we are going until we know where we have been.”
-Hitch
I joke, but that quote really does apply directly to your care. That is why we will review a thorough history of your current problem, other outstanding problems, previous injuries/illnesses, your family health history, and your care goals to best help you take control of your health and wellness!
Full Physical Exam
We will perform a full physical exam including: checking your blood pressure/pulse; checking basic neurological function (reflexes, senses, motor function); a functional assessment to see how your move; full-body hands on palpation to assess your structural integrity, find movement restriction, and find tension.
Treatment
I do treatment on the first visit (and can’t believe that some offices actually don’t). It consists of gentle bodywork (massage, passive stretching, joint mobilization/manipulation), rehabilitation (stabilizing exercises, stretches, breathing), and behavior modification (habit-stacking, work ergonomics, food choices) to help you get to the root of the problem and return to normal function.
Treatment Plan
Response to care really depends on the complexity of the problem. Some patient cases respond to care in one visit, some patient cases need multiple visits to get the desired response, and some patient cases may be beyond our abilities and require referral to other healthcare providers such as general medical doctors, physician’s assistants, nurse practitioners, orthopedists, dentists, neurologists, acupuncturists, nutritionists, etc.
Whatever your treatment requires, we will do everything in our power to help you make the best-informed decisions around your health.
I took over this space in 2024, shut down for a few weeks, and completely remodeled the place to give it some new healing energy!
What to expect during bodywork sessions?
I spend 60-minutes with most folks because good bodywork takes time!
Your response to the previous appointment dictates the next steps. Do we continue as planned? Do we need to modify and adapt with a different approach?
Depending on your custom needs, that 60 minutes will be allocated to gentle bodywork (massage, passive stretching, joint mobilization/manipulation), rehabilitation (stabilizing exercises, stretches, breathing), and behavior modification (habit-stacking, work ergonomics, food choices).

Auto Insurance Claim - Oregon is a “no-fault” state. Anyone involved in a motor vehicle accident with an auto insurance claim is eligible to have their care covered 100%.
I’m open to trades for goods (home grown produce & meat, art, tools, musical instruments/equipment, jewelry/precious metals, gems/minerals) and services (tattoos, artwork, landscaping/gardening, electrical work, bodywork, home/office cleaning, etc.). If you have a skill or service not listed, reach out to me and we can chat.
While I am not in-network with any medical insurance companies, I do understand how the game is played and can code our appointments accordingly. So if you have out-of-network medical insurance benefits, I will happily provide you with a superbill and any additional necessary documentation to submit for partial reimbursement of services.
